FOCAL is the communication and leadership club of IIMB. The mission of FOCAL is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to indulge in the art of effective communication, which in turn fosters self-confidence and personal growth. FOCAL facilitates the conduction of group discussions, communication workshops and speech & debate events to enable students to improve their presentation and public speaking skills. The club is characterized by a nurturing atmosphere with a committed group of people seeking to promote a culture of debate and elocution on campus. The flagship events of the club are – ‘Inter-IIM Debate’ and ‘Art of Elevator Pitch’.
