Tchotchke "Big T" is a 6 pound, 9 year old rescue that helps kids learn to read out loud and feel more confident about their reading skills. We have a traveling library with over 130 books, ALL featuring characters of color. We also have hundreds of books we bring with us to sites for children to choose from to take home. We rely on the generosity of donations! Big T works in schools, neighborhood centers and the YWCA shelter. He of course also makes special appearances as requested, for example he is on the guest list for the Downtown Madison Business Improvement Districts monthly Reading in YOUR city event. We accept ALL used and new book donations.
