Owen Cotterell is a video production and immersive content specialist based in Liverpool, UK. Owen produces and directs video, broadcast and immersive content. Born and brought up in Bedfordshire, Owen moved up to Liverpool in 1997 at the age of 18 to study media at Liverpool John Moores University. Following graduation in 2000, he went on to establish film and motion design agency Mocha - a company now in its 18th successful year and one of the leading film agencies in the UK. In early 2018, Owen exited the business after 18 years as Co-Director and moved on to co-found the immersive content marketing agency, Juice Immersive, as well as to continue producing and directing high-end video projects under his own name. Owen is an active member of BIMA - the British Interactive Media Association - sitting on the Liverpool council and their national Immersive Tech Think Tank. He also represents the Creative and Digital sector on the Liverpool Branch Committee of the Institute of Directors and is a trustee of the groundbreaking and award-winning mental health charity State of Mind Sport. Owen lives happily in south Liverpool with his wife Kate and cat Freddie.
