KURANTAKA - The first ever university fashion club clothing brand, founded by the members of Klub Mode Universitas Indonesia. Established in 2020, the team of Kurantaka consists of fashion enthusiasts from different majors and faculties. The name Kurantaka itself was inspired by a Sanskrit word, meaning “kain tenun berwarna kuning”. Each collection of Kurantaka represent different stories and philosophies from Indonesian culture, as expressed in the tagline, Uncovering Nusantara Story. As a fashion brand for young people, Kurantaka brings each collection to people in the form of —the well loved— minimalistic and modern clothing pieces. Kurantaka encourages people to also represent Indonesian culture by being a part of the #storyofkurantaka.
