We have held various positions in the development of the Nordic Power market. We have been involved on the international arena, investigating international markets and have had key roles in the development of strategies and detailed rules for Trading, Scheduling, and Settlement systems for power exchanges and system operators in California, India, Romania, Turkey, Southern Africa, France, South-east Europe and the Single Electricity Market in Ireland among others. Based on the experience from the last 20 years we have developed extensive international experience from various market and trading arrangements. Hans-Arild Bredesen, the owner of Bredesen Consulting, has, as part of his employment at Nord Pool Consulting, held the position as Senior Vice President from his start in 2005 until March 1st 2008 where he took the position as Managing Director for Nord Pool Consulting. Hans-Arild has also been appointed Certified Engagement manager based on actual results in the projects he has been involved in. Hans-Arild Bredesen established Bredesen Consulting in 2012, a company specialising in Energy market design.
