Caparo Power Limited (CPL) has set up a Gas-Based Group Captive power plant at Bawal, Haryana . The captive power plant has been set up under the Electricity Act 2003 which requires power consumers to hold at least 26% of equity and consume more than 51% of the power generated. The plant began operations in February 2012 and posted a profit within its very first year of operations & keeping same momentum. Presently Caparo Power is generating & supplying power to all the key industries in Bawal IMT. Caparo Power has laid dedicated HT Underground cable for every consumer to ensure high reliability of system. Caparo Power is maintaining 99.57% + uptime to its business partners/ consumers.
