Legible Intelligibles is a summer-exclusive reading series. When the weather warms up, the readings start. LI is strictly open mic, allowing for first-time readers to feel comfortable sharing their writing. This reading series is meant to be a deadline for new work, since a lot of us are not in school or otherwise structured writing environments. LI recognizes that self-imposed deadlines are hard to stick to, so the monthly readings give deadlines to those who don't otherwise have them.
