Seng Huat Bean Curd provides island wide supply of fresh Taukwa to wet markets, restaurants, catering kitchens, retail outlets, minimarts & supermarkets. Previously a Professional Racehorse Jockey, Mr Alan Ng left his 14 years of racing career to help run his family business, Seng Huat, in 2013. Alan is the 4th generation owner after Seng Huat was passed down originally by his great-grandfather who founded the business back in the 1920s. After joining the company, he has helped to boost the business in manufacturing and supplying fresh taukwa to wet markets, markets and etc. In 2017, Alan decided to redesigned and repackaged Seng Huat core product, fresh Taukwa, into vacuum packaging. He further expanded his market share by supplying vacuum-packed taukwa into Sheng Siong supermarkets in Singapore. In April 2017, Seng Huat Bean Curd has also successfully obtained its first Muis Halal Certification. In 2018, Alan proved he has greater plans for the business when he introduced new machineries and technologies to help improve efficiency and boost production. Seng Huat production has since moved from the original Defu Lane factory to Jurong Food Hub, where it boosts larger factory space thus allowing Seng Huat to grow and expand its production.
