With Red

With Red (Global With Red Association) is a highly recognised and influential nonprofit organisation to tackle period poverty and stigma and promote Taiwan’s period equity. In 2022, they founded the first and currently the only period museum, The Red House, in Taipei, Taiwan.
Since 2019, they have continued to eliminate period poverty and stigma through social work, education and advocacy. With Red’s projects and actions have pushed forward multiple period-friendly local policies in Taiwan. In three years, they have reached more than 330K students, teachers and parents across Taiwan and were awarded the 2021 Diana Award and Innovative Education Award. In addition, they have positively impacted over 550 unprivileged teenage menstruators, under 18, across 20 cities with a long-term supportive program - free sanitary product packs, self-care and period education, and training for social workers. During COVID-19, when period poverty worsened, they supported more than 1000 families from underrepresented and under-resourced populations, preventing them from falling into a cycle of poverty.
They believe that everyone shall be rightfully own their true selves and has the right to live freely regardless of gender, identity, race or difference of any kind. They are committed to standing for diversity and inclusion and fighting for period equity and gender equality until those mentioned above become a reality.
