The Rotary Club of Bamburi, Mombasa is part of Rotary - an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. It is a non-political and non-religious organization open to all people regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, or political preference. The Rotary Club of Bamburi serves in Rotary District 9212 (comprising Kenya, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Eritrea) and meets on the first two Thursdays of every month at Baobab Holiday Resort in Nyali, Mombasa - followed by an online meeting and a #SocialThursday. The club has engaged professionals, business and community leaders, friends, family and the public in commitment to creating lasting change in communities around Mombasa and her environs.
