Dancing Bear Chocolate
An Artisan Chocolate, Gelato and Pastry Studio located at the corner of 44th & Thomas Ave in the Victory Neighborhood of North Minneapolis. Open Thursday through Sunday 10am to 5pm. Dancing Bear opened it’s retail Studio May 8, 2020 operating thru the walkup service window for the first 3 months, we opened a small space inside the Studio in late summer 2020. Community has always been at the center of what we do, We host a Community Garden Nonprofit in our back yard-Tiny Fields, this summer we will bring fresh produce to the neighborhood through a CSA partnership and we plan to host local artists inside our Studio in late 2021. Becoming a Dining Out for Life Partner seems like a natural extension of what we are all about. Prior to creating Dancing Bear, Steven was the Executive Chef at Open Arms MN and was one of the original Chefs with D’Amico Cocina. Joe has work for Project for Pride in Living and Open Book. DOFL is the perfect way for both of us to continue giving back to our community that has always provided for us. On our windows along Thomas Ave. and on the back of our tee-shirts are these words; Chocolate, Gelato, Pastry and Smiles. Come see the greats things we are making here! Steven and Joe
