Established in 2005, NTU Hall of Residence 16 is home to 533 students on the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) campus. Hall 16 is managed by the Office of Housing & Auxiliary Services of NTU and led by the Hall Council, a student representative body consisting of 18 office bearers voted in by the residents. The Hall Council's main purpose is to serve the residents of 16. They are responsible for the planning and execution of events such as Hall Day, Halloween, Boarding Call, Curtain Call and Chinese New Year.
