ARTEMIS SKATE COMPANY is a UK-based and -made women's skateboarding brand, providing purpose-built, hardwearing and technical apparel/goods with female skaters at the forefront. The female skate scene is fast growing in the UK, and the available options for skate clothing are currently limited to items designed for and by male participants. Whilst these are still valid options for skaters of all genders and identities, ARTEMIS SKATE CO. aims to create specific items with female proportions in mind, all whilst retaining the rugged and urban aesthetic of current skate culture. Our primary goal is to raise up women in all aspects of the community. ARTEMIS SKATE CO. collaborates with female graphic designers, both locally and across the world, to create limited edition lines and raise up women in the areas of their craft. We also regularly donate stock to local women’s comps and girl skate sessions, and help with the promo and set-up for girl skate events across the country. Finally, this company is the creation of a real female skater integrated in today's UK skate scene. Having heard the needs of fellow women skaters and witnessed the demand for such catered items, skateboarding is at the core of this brand rather than being a purely 'fashion' venture. It is greatly hoped that ARTEMIS SKATE CO. will provided even greater support for the rapidly growing female skateboarding scene in the U.K. and world-wide.
