We are a youth-owned Private Arts Club and Theatre Company founded by a trio of students who met at the University of Venda, Limpopo, South Africa. The company offers exclusive world class African entertainment services through creative content especially film and performance arts productions i.e. Poetry, Stage Drama, Music and Dance. We are a socially-driven establishment that uses theatre and the arts to develop the skills of young people aged 5-35 and create opportunities for them to realise their dreams and explore their talents. Working towards having a network of African Youth Creativity and Recreation Centres, with facilities that will help with uplifting rural and township based youth through all Art forms: Literature, Performing, Media and Visual arts. We have chosen this work because a lot of people do not believe in performing arts anymore, even in the face of widespread substance abuse, which we believe youth resort to in the absence of a meaningful pastime. Thinking back to our formative years in school, when arts was compulsory, it pains us, nowadays, to see young talent wasting away, consumed by substance abuse especially in the absence of recreational facilities of the type that one sees in big cities. Doing this kind of work is essentially about providing a platform for young people to sharpen, showcase and monetise their talent traditionally and digitally.
