The Chemical, and Materials Engineering department at San Jose State University offers B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering and materials engineering. Locating in the heart of Silicon Valley, we focus on hands-on learning. Our curriculum provides a strong foundation that can be applied to a range of industries including semiconductors and microelectronics, alternative energy and energy storage, environmental remediation, health and safety as well as in traditional industries such as petroleum processing and metallurgy. Many of our students go onto graduate schools all over the country.
