Dance with sobriety is a program dedicated to those recovering from trauma and Substance Use Disorder who choose to get together and celebrate life. Our focus is to have fun with the art of moving our bodies. While helping each achieve our full potential we know how to enjoy our clarity. While once diluting our bodies to numb our pain and ability to function, we learn how to re-coordinate our bodies and fill our hearts with music. The only requirement is the desire to have a good time. Not only do we bump to the beat; we also help each other stay focused on our dreams as individuals and how achieving such realities will help the world become a better place. As a whole we choose to perform for the success of others. Meaning; our performances are all directed to help our community gain funds for others where financial help would be beneficial. Specifically helping with initial costs for for an addict that couldn’t otherwise pay for treatment and/or rent for sober living homes. We are in rhythm with life and want others to find the rhythm within themselves. We are a group who dedicates time for the purpose of empowering others to see the best of their world, while being the best we can be in ours.
