Shakti Shalini is non-governmental organization that actively works against all forms of gender violence. Gender and sexual violence remains a critical issue in India and needs concerted effort at individual, community and policy levels to bring about change. Shakti Shalini attempts to address gender violence from multiple directions. Our strategies aim at responding to violence, preventing violence, training social workers and creating literature to address the cause of gender equality.
