Anne paints makes drawings and paints realistic oil paintings, inspired by Dutch masters such as Rembrandt van Rijn and Frans Hals, but also nineteenth-century painters such as George Hendrik Breitner and Anton Mauve. With her paintings she shows how she sees the people and the world around her. She believes the world can be improved by zooming in on details others might miss. Sketches and photos are the groundwork for the painted end products.
