The purposes of this organization shall consist of: Providing professional development and cultural opportunities that will enrich the lives of all employees as well as the Irish and Irish American descent employees in energy. To enrich the cultural diversity and awareness of employees in energy. To include Gaelic culture, and to share this diversity with the multi-cultural communities throughout the metropolitan New York area. To offer mentoring and coaching to its members. To provide a warm, friendly, and open atmosphere that encourages a spirit of community. To share and promote Irish philanthropic and community initiatives and to be prepared to respond in the event of a crisis in our community. To build philanthropic support through fundraising and participation in community events including the celebration of any and all Saint Patrick’s Day Parades and celebrations. To support Irish arts and culture, education, language and literature, and history. We are an approved and registered IRS 501(c)10 Not-For-Profit Organization. We are also approved and registered with the New York State Dept of Charities.
