Our motto is paraphrased from a quote by Edward Everett Hale and goes something like this: We are human. We are only human, we cannot do everything. We are however human, while we cannot do everything, by the grace of God, that which we can do, we shall do! WE DO NOT BELIEVE that one person is incapable of making a difference in the world we live in, and we believe that “if you can only help one person” that you have already given in to failure and will never put forth your best effort. The approach taken by the Coral Triangle Society is systemic in nature … meaning it does not seek to alleviate any single symptom, but rather works within a more complex system to alleviate the root causes of poverty and to provide education, training, tools and opportunity to the people who receive assistance. This Systemic Solution is by necessity, Integrated and Adaptive in nature. It integrates education and training with skills, tools and opportunities to provide real world, lasting, meaningful and effective results. It is Adaptive by necessity, in order to address issues of local, cultural and environmental concerns that prevent singular blanket solutions from ever being effective.
