The QSA aims at creating a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment where LGBTQIA+ students, staff, faculty and alumni of different sexual orientations and gender identities can feel comfortable while expressing themselves without feeling any social pressures. We aim to spread awareness about issues specific to the queer community and focus on their experiences, especially in India. We wish to address the discrimination faced by the queer youth of our country and add to the voice of the community. The CBS QSA, at its heart, is an alliance of people from different orientations willing to accept others for who they are, and fostering acceptance and support.
