The Student Government of Chulalongkorn University, or SGCU, is a central organization for the student club’s administration and is responsible for many student activities such as “Rubnongkaomai” (Freshmen Welcome Day), “Loykathong CU,” and “Chula–Thammasat Traditional Football Match,”. The SGCU is composed of ten primary positions selected by Chula students, including President of the Student Union, the First and the Second Deputies, Secretary, Treasurer, Social Services and Development, student representatives from eighteen faculties and two schools, a representative from the Residence of Chulalongkorn University, and the Heads of five divisions: Student Relations, Art and Culture, Academics, and Sports. Additionally, The SCGU has a support team which may vary by mutual agreements among committee members, such as the Public Relations Division and the Human Resource Division. We, SGCU, are here to thrive on our tradition of excellence to become the best student organization in Thailand, to create a social impact, innovate society, and genuinely make Chulalongkorn University a more inclusive place.
