BACHELOR of SCIENCE DEGREE: Industrial Automation -INDA Program. The Baccalaureate Degree in Industrial Automation focuses on the management and application of electronics and computer technology, including instrumentation/control, industrial robotics, computer aided drafting, and human machine interfaces (HMI). The program prepares students for careers in the design, operation, and management of industrial automation systems focusing on our local industries; Petroleum (Chevron), Energy (Aera), Logistics (Target), Food (Nestle), and Manufacturing (GAF). Significant emphasis is placed on project based learning facilitated by laboratory work using industry hardware (Allen Bradley PLCs) Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of our local businesses that require these skill sets. It is a partnership between industrial requirements and higher education with a focus and goal of developing local talent to support our local economy. We extend our hand and invitation to local businesses to share their workforce needs so we can adapt our training labs to mimic the requirements of regional Industrial Automation operations.
