These hard rock chicks will blow your head off! Thundermother started the summer 2010 in Växjö when the guitarist and southern swede Filippa Nässil wanted to play Rock'N'Roll. So with dreams and visions along with the song "Shoot to Kill" playing in her head she started Thundermother. She moved to Stockholm to pursue her dream. The first stable lineup started with Giorgia Carteri (rhythm guitar) coming all the way from Italy, Tilda Stenqvist (drums) from Karlstad, Linda Ström from the Smålander woods and Clare Cunningham born and raised in Ireland. They were having fun and it was noticeable on-stage. Pure enjoyment and Rock'N'Roll deep from their bones. Hardrock-girls from around the world now united to do one sole thing, to play together and travel on the roads. The band have toured throughout Europe, gaining fans such as In Flames, Zakk Wylde, Danko Jones, Opeth, Motörhead and Airbourne. Thundermother released the 2 albums "Rock 'N' Roll Disaster" in 2014, "Road Fever" in 2015 and the EP "Hellevator" in 2016. Then early 2017, the lineup changed and now Filippa Nässil (lead guitar) is still playing with outstanding musicians: Guernica Mancini (lead vocal) from The Royal Ruckus, Sara Petterson (bass guitar) from HIFLY and Emlee Johansson (drums).
