The Griffith Racing Team was established in 2013 as a Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) team to facilitate the involvement of Griffith University students in the worldwide Formula SAE competition. Participating students gain a myriad in skills in design, management, manufacturing, communication, research and business operations by working within a real-world environment with the pressures, financial constraints and limitations associated with large scale projects.
