The University of British Columbia (UBC) Orchard Commons Residence Association (OCRA) are the elected student representatives for Orchard Commons residents. As an Orchard resident, you are automatically a member of the OCRA. As the OCRA council, we are your leadership team made up of volunteers in the residence community. We are a group of second year students who lived in Orchard the previous year and were elected to our positions, living in all first year residence areas. We advocate for students, and plan house-wide and Orchard-wide events to ensure that your first year is filled with memories and that you have the best experience at your first year residence. OCRA is a part of a larger group on campus known as the UBC Residence Hall Association (RHA), which represents all students living on residence.
