I am a dual qualified Australian and English lawyer with over twenty years of experience working for investment banks and companies in the City of London and Mayfair. I am the former Head of DCM Legal at a large investment bank - where I was involved in multi-million dollar deals in Russia, Kazakstan, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South Africa. I then became the Managing Director of an advisory company in Mayfair. Three years ago I left the corporate world and was a visiting lecturer at three university law schools where I taught commercial awareness and risk to law students. At one of the law schools I developed and taught a commercial awareness and risk module to law students. I also work with the Social Mobility Foundation charity - by providing commercial awareness and risk seminars for some of their law students. In 2020 , I founded the British Inter University Commercial Awareness Competition ( BIUCAC 2020 ) - which became the largest commercial awareness competition for law students in the United Kingdom in it's inaugural year. BIUCAC 2020 is exclusively aimed at helping law students from non-Russell Group universities to develop and showcase their commercial awareness knowledge directly to partners from some of the world's leading law firms. As a result of the huge demand I received from law students who participated in BIUCAC 2020 to teach them , I have now decided to provide honest ,direct and interactive virtual teaching to law students who want to develop and improve their commercial awareness skills.
