Audible Silence is the concept of making a presence felt in its complete absence. Something so minimalistic and subtle, that it is almost not there but still makes a huge difference. The silence that is loud enough to be heard. The silence that is positive, so pure. It is too subtle. It is undefinable, unmeasurable but we know that it pervades and contains us. This silence is musical and it has a thrill in it. The artworks that I make, all share some form of ‘Audible Silence’. We simply have to sit silently, inhabit the stillness, and listen.
