Scinapse Queen’s is founded on the principle that science is all about curiosity, exploration, taking risks, much more than memorizing information. Our two main focus for the year is the Undergraduate Science Case Competition (USCC) and My Future Career conference (see below for more information): USCC is an Ontario wide competition where groups of 2-4 attempt to create an innovative solution for a global problem. As it is a provincial wide competition, each year it is hosted in the University of Ottawa with the support of uOttawa's Faculty of Science and Faculty of Medicine. My Future Career is a conference for undergraduate science students to meet and socialize with alumni, and professors to see potential career paths outside of traditional medicine. Overall, the main purpose of Scinapse Queen's is to promote undergraduate research and innovation to undergraduate student at Queen's and universities across Ontario.
