Quarterback FC is a local team based in Wembley, North West London that has been playing men’s 11 a side football since September 2018. We assembled a group of 16 – 26 year old’s to form the starting 11 with plans to join a Sunday league in the 19/20 season. Upon discovering the talent we had within the squad, our vision broadened and we felt we had the means and resources to put our players on a platform to get them noticed by semi pro/pro football teams. Growing up in Brent, there were a large number of young boys who were talented enough to play football at a good level, however, due to their environment and lack of guidance, they resorted to drugs, violence and a life of crime. Our focal point is to give players a second chance in football who are overlooked by other clubs. Our long-term vision for the club includes: Providing facilities to youths where they can come and train to improve their skills and ultimately provide them with a second opportunity in life. As well as Creating a number of youth teams i.e. U18’s, U13’s etc, and challenge for honours.
