The Agnon Literature Center (NGO “Buchach-Art”) was founded as an organization working in the sphere of literature management, and it is still functioning in Buchach, the town, where Shmuel Yosef Agnon was born. Main goal of the Literature Center is to popularize literature among the society of the small town, as well as to return Buchach onto the literature map of the state due to the figure of Shmuel Yosef Agnon, the Nobel Prize laureate in literature. The Agnon Literature Center organizes: - Literature meetings and books presentations; - Literature residences; - Literature city tours in Buchach; - Literature club for young writers; - Publishing and educational projects; - Specialized library
