About the event: PodFest Asia is an inaugural all-day free-to-attend virtual event and we expect our audience and listeners to be in the region of 13,000. Our goal is to bring people from the podcasting community in Asia and beyond together to give them inspiration about belonging, community and tribe, which means taking care of each other, raising the tide and lifting all boats, including sharing knowledge and resources without a paywall during these pandemic times. We want to provoke discussion and raise awareness about this thriving and growing industry, which we hope will also raise funds and donations to cover our operating costs of this virtual event and future in-person events. Our talks will be live streamed, recorded, and an edit shown or replayed on our podcast wherever you listen to podcasts and other social media channels such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. We believe our “voices” and sharing of insights and trends on podcasting industry will be beneficial to everyone in our PodFest Asia community and to like-minded individuals who attend the event.
