After years of working in and around animal rescue, it became evident that there was a need for an organisation to bridge the gaps in animal rescue in Australia. Founded in early 2018, The Rescue Collective is a movement, bringing together resources FOR animal rescues and animal rescue volunteers. The primary focus of this organisation is to gather and deliver care packages to local rescues in their time of need. Our secondary purpose is to provide a safe place in which rescues can assist and network with each other in anticipation of creating more successful and reliable processes in the industry - with a community feel and open forum. The Rescue Collective provides a transparent, positive & productive community environment in which rescues, volunteers and supporters can band together to make greater impact the area of Animal Welfare in Australia. Through the collection of donations and a supportive community foundation, we aim to assist & work with all facets of animal rescue.
