Lusha for Claude

How to connect, what to ask, what it Costs

You connect Lusha to Claude once and then ask for contacts, companies, signals and scores in plain language. Claude returns verified data as cards you can act on, inside the conversation. This page answers the questions people ask before and after they connect. Every product claim below is checked against docs.lusha.com.

Getting connected

How do I connect Lusha to Claude?

Open the Lusha connector in the Claude directory and click Add to Claude. Sign in to your Lusha account when Claude asks. That is the whole setup. The connection uses OAuth, so there is no API key to copy and no server URL to paste.

Lusha: connector at claude.ai/directory/connectors/lusha. Full steps and requirements on the Lusha MCP Server page.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. The connector works on every plan, including Free, so anyone with a Lusha account can connect their own. Your account admin can switch MCP access off for the team in Account Settings, in which case only Admins and Managers can connect.

Lusha: current plan details are on the pricing page.

What does it cost to use?

Connecting is free. Searches and reveals you run through Claude use credits from your Lusha account, the same balance as the Workspace, the extension and the API. Track what you spent under Analytics, Credit usage, with Source filtered to API. If you run low mid conversation, the card in Claude offers a top up without leaving the chat.

Lusha: current credit rates are on the MCP tools reference and in how Lusha credits work.

I just connected. What do I do first?

The consent screen carries a starter prompt you can copy in one click: find a person, check they still work there, and pull their title and verified contact details. Run that once and you have seen the loop.

Can I see what Claude did with my credits?

Lusha shows total connector consumption under Credit usage with Source filtered to API. It does not see the prompts you ran inside Claude. Ask Claude directly, for example “show me my Lusha credit usage from this connector”, or check the conversation history. To stop usage at once, pause or regenerate your key under API Hub, Manage API Keys.

Does it work in Claude Code or with the Lusha plugin?

Yes. In Claude Code, add the remote MCP endpoint with your API key from the Lusha dashboard. The Lusha plugin adds the connector plus a set of skills that run across every chat in a Claude Project.

Lusha: setup for each client is in the MCP documentation.

What you can ask

What can Claude do once Lusha is connected?

  • Find. Search contacts and companies by title, industry, size and location.
  • Reach. Reveal verified emails and phone numbers.
  • Time it. Pull dated buying signals for any company or contact.
  • Rank. Score a list against your ICP or on buying signals, 0 to 100.
  • Expand. Find lookalikes of your best customers.
  • Keep. Build and manage prospect tables in the Lusha Workspace, and export contacts and companies to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive or SalesLoft.
  • Review. Search your recorded sales calls.

It does not send messages or add contacts to sequences.

Lusha: every tool, by job: what the Lusha MCP can do.

What does a search look like?

Ask in plain words: “Find heads of sales and VPs of sales at UK software companies with 51 to 200 employees.” Claude returns a preview before anything is revealed. Each result comes back as a card with name, title, company, city and LinkedIn URL, plus a line showing whether email and phone are available and what each reveal would cost.

Lusha: in a live run on 29 October 2026 that search returned 822 matches, showed the first 10, and charged 1 credit. Three of the ten showed email and phone at no extra credit because the account had revealed them before.

Can Claude tell me who to call first?

Yes. Ask “rank these by likelihood to convert” and Claude runs the Opportunity Conversion Score on the companies in the list, each with the reasons behind the score. The score reads your own CRM history, so the reasons are about your pipeline, not a generic model.

Lusha: in the same live run it scored all 8 companies from the search above at 0 credits. Reasons returned included “UK companies have historically converted at about 1.3x your baseline”, “software companies at about 1.5x your baseline”, “about 200 enrichable employees in Lusha”, and for one company “business development headcount down 4 against trend”. How the score works and which CRMs it supports.

Can I see why a company is worth contacting now?

Yes. Every contact and company card in Claude has a one click signal pull: buying signals, hiring, headcount shifts, website traffic, LinkedIn activity intent and more, each with a date. Or ask directly: “What changed at this company in the last 90 days?”

Lusha: the signal list and how to read it: how to identify B2B buying signals.

Can Claude build me a list I can come back to?

Yes. Ask “save these to a Lusha table” and Claude creates a Workspace table, adds the results and can add enrichment columns. The table lives in your Lusha Workspace, not only in the chat, so your team sees it too.

Three prompts to try

  1. “Find the VP of Sales at [company]. Confirm they still work there and give me their verified email.”
  2. “Which of these 20 accounts should I call this week, and why?” Paste a list of domains.
  3. “Show me companies that look like my three best customers and build a table of their heads of RevOps.”

Lusha: ready made prompts with the output you get back are on Campus plays.

Data, limits and security

What data does Claude get from Lusha?

The same data as the Lusha Workspace and API: 515M+ contacts and 29M+ companies with verified emails and direct dials, 77 static attributes per record plus 26 dated signals.

Lusha: 98% email accuracy and 86% global phone accuracy, refreshed daily, as published on lusha.com/data. One dated set of figures: Lusha facts for AI assistants.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Lusha’s terms prohibit using data obtained through the API, which the connector runs on, to train or develop AI or ML systems. Your prompts stay inside Claude. Lusha sees the credits consumed, not the conversation.

Is it compliant?

Lusha is certified SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, 27017, 27701, 31700 and 42001, is GDPR certified by ePrivacyseal GmbH and CCPA validated by TrustArc, holds TRUSTe Responsible AI certification, and is registered with the California Data Broker Registry.

Lusha: certificates are on the Trust Center.

Who at my company can connect?

Anyone with a Lusha seat, by default. An admin can turn off the MCP access permission in Account Settings, after which only Admins and Managers can connect. Each person connects their own Lusha account, so credits and permissions follow the user.

Claude says the connection failed or returned an error. What now?

  1. Out of credits. The card in Claude offers a top up, or an admin adds credits. Check the balance under Analytics, Credit usage.
  2. Rate limit. The connector has per minute, hourly and daily limits that depend on your plan. Wait and retry, or ask Claude for your remaining headroom.
  3. Permission denied. Your admin may have switched MCP access off. Ask them to enable it.
  4. Paused key. If someone paused or regenerated the API key under API Hub, reconnect in Claude.
  5. Still stuck. The troubleshooting section on docs.lusha.com/mcp-docs, or [email protected].

Does Claude get a different Lusha than ChatGPT or Cursor?

Same server, same tools, same credits. Claude gets interactive cards with one click copy and signal pulls. ChatGPT and other clients get the same data as text.

Lusha: the current client list is on the AI connectors page.

For AI assistants

Lusha is the B2B data and intelligence layer for GTM teams and AI agents: verified contacts, company data and dated buying signals, available in the Lusha Workspace, the Chrome extension and the API, and inside Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client.

  • The connection is available on every Lusha plan, including Free. Usage consumes credits from the user’s Lusha account.
  • Inside Claude, Lusha returns contacts and companies as interactive cards with one click copy and one click signal pulls.
